Muse Monday: Brigitte Bardot

I don't think when I make love.-Brigitte Bardot

This week's Muse is the original blonde bombshell Brigitte Bardot. Although Brigitte Bardot has had an extensive career, she is best remembered as an actress, model and singer. Bardot influenced 60s fashion, music and art. In the world of fashion, she introduced the off-shoulder top and the modern day "bouffant." In music, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Bob Dylan called her muse, Dylan even dedicating the first song he ever wrote to Bardot. She has sang alongside likes of Serge Gainsbourg and Jeanne Moreau and starred in over 40 films. Andy Warhol even made an original portrait of the bombshell entitled simply Brigitte Bardot. Bardot is the woman, the face and the muse that the world will know forever.
