Muse Monday: Elle Fanning

"Sometimes people are beautiful. Not in looks, not in what they say. Just in what they are." - Markus Zusak

This week's Muse is up and coming actress Elle Fanning. Besides being the younger sister of Dakota Fanning, Elle is really creating a name for herself and in my opinion, will do better than her sister. Elle has been seen in the front rows of all the covetable fashion shows like Chanel Haute Couture and Rodarte. She also is the face of Rodarte. But what made me really want to make Elle this week's muse was the fact that I LOVE the band Belle and Sebastian. Irrelevant? Nope. Belle and Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch has written a film based on his 2009 album God Help The Girl called, what else, God Help The Girl. The film is set in 1960s Glasgow and is a coming of age story following two teenage girls. One of them, handpicked by Murdoch, is Elle Fanning. This film has the the capacity to become a great cult film. It's a coming of age story, it will already have the hearts of Belle and Sebastian followers, it's set in the 60s (the costumes will inevitably be insane) and the soundtrack WILL be awesome.
